Three exhibition participations are scheduled this summer: five Cosmic Garden flowers go on show at ART FAB, the Citadelle, St.Tropez as of July 10 (until Oct.06); the Garden of Delights ensemble will be at Palmengarten, Frankurt in July-August, and my homecoming show African Suite opens in Prince Albert, South Africa on Oct 7.

Project planning is under way for the new pre-school (phase 2) at Mamer-Königsbund. Plexiglass friezes with coloured geometric patterns and the signature 3 square metre outdoor mosaic continue the Africa meets Europe theme and will familiarize pupils with their classrooms; two exhibition spaces will showcase their own works.

Since 2000, I have been donating 10% of all sales to my Skuinshuis Arts Scholarship Fund, which will enable an underprivileged scholar from the Karoo town Prince Albert, South Africa, to study the arts on a 3-year diploma course. Your support for my work thus also helps this good cause. Donations are also most welcome: please donate directly to the scholarship bank account number (in my name) below at ABSA bank in South Africa, mentioning your name and address. You will receive regular news of the candidate‘s progress once she/he has begun their studies. I foresee the first scholar making use of the Fund in the academic year beginning January 2007. My studio at Schleifmillen, 10 rue Godchaux, Hamm will be open during the annual “Portes Ouvertes” on Saturday 01.07.06 from 14:00-20:00. Please drop in and check out art to suit all budgets - from commercially produced works such as the first editions of digitally printed wrapping papers + matching cards in six graphic designs; original drawings; prints or small and large format paintings. To reach the studio, please take rue de la Montagne at the church in Hamm, continue down to the river and the old factory building with an archway and a chimney. You’ll find me on the first floor.
