The new playschool Mamer-Königsbund was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker on September 21. Five weeks of on-site work during the summer vacations, with the help of two assistants and the mosaic specialist Marleen Lacroix produced ca.30metres of wall-painting and a 3 square metre outdoor mosaic, all programmatically entitled „Africa meets Europe”. Both were warmly received by school and communal authorities.

I am now focusing on high-level collaborative projects with architects designing contemporary buildings. I design different areas with them: entrance halls, objects like big vases for plants, large mosaic objects to place in public spaces, façade patterning.

        

Since 2000, I have donated 10% from sales to my Skuinshuis Scholarship Fund which will enable an underprivileged scholar from the Karoo town Prince Albert, South Africa, to study the arts on a 3-year diploma course. Your support for my work thus also helps this good cause.
